He must turn inwards and master the art of self-discovery in order to fill his days, which he does while honing his own personal style and sense of fashion. Set in rural Massachusetts in the 1970s, young Burroughs struggles with the deterioration of his parents’ marriage and the larger familial dysfunction this invites.
